Shoebox Swap with the Queens of the Stamp Age

My upline, Brandi Barnard - fearless leader of the Queens of the Stamp Age, organized a shoebox swap for us girls, and Kasia (bless her heart) let us use her house!!  So, we stampin' girls got together to make some cards.

A "shoebox swap" is a little different - where we are all demonstrators.  Instead of creating the complete card (like other swaps), we each cut all the product for our card and then each demonstrator is able to make her own card.  It is a great way to get a bunch of samples using different product in a really quick way!

We also shared a little dinner together.  And, of course, there was plenty of talking and laughing!!

So . . . here's my swap. (taken from this SCS photo.)

Here's how I did it:
Stamp Set: Beary Best Friends, Beary Nice Wishes
Cardstock: Brocade Blue, Certainly Celery, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Basic Black Stampin Pad, Brocade Blue, Certainly Celery, Real Red, Only Orange Stampin' Write Markers, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Real Red 1/4" Grosgarin Ribbon, Certainly Celery 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

Cut card base to be 4" x 12".  Score along 12" side at the following measurements:  5", 10", 10 1/4", 11 1/2".

Interested in attending our team meetings or swap get-togethers?? Let me know and I will forward you information on becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
